Could someone tell me the difference between the Casino and the Casino Worn-especially sound wise.

Aside from the finish, the Casino Worn has "Pro P90" pickups and the traditional Casino has "P90R" and "P90T" pickups.

They have other small differences such as different names for tuners, but this looks to be mostly cosmetic. I don't see anything on the pots used but would assume the Worn has some cost saving there.

I have a Casino worn, it is my favorite guitar to play

Thanks. I was going to change the pickups to Vintage Vibe anyway. The reason that I posted was because I noticed there is quite a price difference between Worn and regular Casino

Some difference in cost may be attributable to the finish of each itself with the worn finish being less costly to produce vs the traditional version looking to remain as close to the original versions as possible.

the differences are 99.7% cosmetic

you could make a pretty convincing argument that the worn casino is the best bang/buck value electric guitar available.

The finish on the worn version is probably cheap to apply. From what I have seen it varies in thickness from guitar to guitar. I spotted a denim one and a black one in the wild, the denim was a very thin finish with a good amount of wood grain visible. The black was a bit more thick but still showed some wood in the light. I have an olive one and the finish is pretty thick and goopy looking, no grain can be seen, but it is an awesome guitar.

Factory standard picjkups?
Yeah all stock. I did replace the bridge with a Wilkinson but later went back to stock after playing with the wire a bit.

Some people swap the pickups. I don't hear any reason to.

Seven years ago, I thought the Casino Coupe was the best bang/buck electric guitar available. I still do. The better upper fret access and side mounted jack are big advantages to the full size Casinos, for me. I also prefer the smaller body. Your mileage may vary.

Somewhat the same debate as the ES 335 vs ES 339. More comfort and possibly better playability vs tradition. Mine is a full size if only because I traded for it shedding a Lucille I didn't care for. It's a shame I don't play it more than I do but I do admit it less comfortable for a little casual sitting around playing. It's not going anywhere though.

Well damn it. Now that I looked at the coupe more I kinda want one. I need to stop visiting this site.

By the way when I googled Casino vs Casino Coupe I saw an image of a bunch of black Epiphones. I was going to download the image and send it to @Paruwi as guitar porn, then realized it was posted by him! Screenshot_20230112-083914_Chrome.jpg

Actually there are quite a few differences. Aside from the finish which is less stifling than the standard Casino’s IMO, the Worn features a Graphtech nut, CTS pots, a 60s C shaped neck, spruce bracing and superior low wind pickups. I have the Ebony model and it’s a great guitar, especially since I spent the saving compared to the standard model on a new bridge and fret Plek. B06CF1AB-0C06-458B-B826-DDF74E21983A.jpeg
