I hope so aswell. I'll find out soon enough. What i heard from people that got it in the last half year it's not as bad as the variant in the beginning.
So far i feel absolutely fine except for the runny nose.
It seems to run rampant at my work lately. Most likely where i contracted it.

On the plus side, i don't have to get out in the cold for the next few days.

Yes hope you have a speedy recovery, A couple of our friends have tested positive in the last two weeks & have similar symptoms to yours.

Thank you. I hope your friends have a speedy recovery aswell.

I'm pretty sure i must have contracted it at work since i haven't really been out or met anyone besides work over the last few weeks.. Luckily that does make it a lot easier tracking down everyone i've been in contact with lately.

We’re up to the fourth shot, and so far have escaped infection. We rarely go into the grocery, rather let them bring it out to the car. I still see a lot of masks in the wild, and I keep one handy if I feel the need or the crowd is crowdy.

My Daughter's (8 and 14) are still going to school , they are still wearing masks, wash their hands and practicing distancing.

I'm worried 😟.....

I hope you recover, friend !!!! 🙏

It feels like things are all better again. The runny nose is over and other than that i didn't notice anything.
I'm glad it wasn't any worse than that. A friends dad is still having a hard time going for walks or getting up the stairs 2 years after he contracted covid. He did end up in the hospital on intensive care and in a coma so i think i was lucky i had minor symptoms.

The week off from work came in quite usefull doing things around the house which i was planning to do in the week between Christmas and New Years

Booked in for 9th March!

I've not heard of any more shots here, I've had the four shots. Just got those self test rapid antigen test kits off the NHS yesterday in the post.
I'm supposed to test regular & inform right away if I test positive due to my ongoing medical condition.

Daughter Kellie has recovered from her Covid experience fully now and sounds good. Despite being heavily immuno- surpressed she fought it off and was grateful for the protection of the 5th shot. Also the course of anti virals she embarked on when found to be positive. It could well have been another story for her!

All people over 18 here are entitled to the extra booster now though I bet the uptake isn’t what it was for the 4th as people are getting complacent about now. The new one branches out and covers other strains which is a good reason to have it.

That's great news Rob!
So glad she's back on deck.

That is excellent news indeed.

Unlike some of my "neighbors" I see the benefits of keeping up with vaccinations.

Sure, I feel like 💩 about 12 hours later and it ruins the next day, but if I'm reacting to the shot like that... I don't think I want the "real-life" experience.
