1963 Epiphone Coronet in Cherry Red

-No trades thanks-

In very good condition for its age, original nut and frets still intact.

1963 was a transitional year for the Coronet. Still has the symmetrical horns (they went asymmetrical later in ’64) and 3-on-a-side tuners (they went to the batwing headstock in ’64). Pickguard is intact, not cracked like many are at this point, 60-years later.

Came out of the same Gibson factory in Kalamazoo that produced the Gibson Les Paul Junior.

A featherweight at 5 lbs 6 oz.

A few upgrades:

• MojoAxe Lightning Bolt Wraparound Bridge (original included)

• TonePros Locking Studs (originals included)

Single P90 measure 6.59K ohms, sounds fantastic. Original tuners and electronics.

Includes original case, which is in rough shape, but still in one piece.

I will also include a nice modern Epiphone hardshell case which actually protects the guitar.
$4,000
Would prefer a local pick up in the New England area, but shipping could be arranged.

Just to give you are heads up, we aren't really buyers of vintage guitars. But the forum does pop up on searches. So post a Reverb or eBay link if you have one. A non-member searching for a vintage Coronet will be able to find you.

So post a Reverb or eBay link if you have one.
It would be better to have one, especially as a new member.

With all due respect, you could be Norm of Norm's guitars and it'd still be advisable to provide a link as we don't check ID's at the door, so to speak.

Shockingly, we do get the occasional scammer coming through. Therefore using a reputable website for the transaction would provide protection for both parties.

You guys can do whatever it is you decide to do, and I hope it works out.

I wish I was Norm, but alas, I'm not.
Just a guitar guy in the Northeast.
The link breaks, but I was able to find you.
Let me try a different approach.

EDIT: The link above works. Something with the https:// being part of it breaks things. I plain-texted the link as written and turned it back into a link using the exact same link info. I shouldn't have had to, but it liked it when I converted "Link" that way - so I just used the link as the base text.
