Yes indeed. An even happier one since it's in the middle of a three day weekend for me. Think I might head over to my daughters house a bit later for some coffee and grandpa time with my two princesses.

Oh yeah, and the Gold Top comes out of hiding today to get a little TLC and some well deserved attention this coming week.

Funny how when I haven't played soap bar P90s in awhile and I finally do they just jump right out at me scream "I'm really different ain't I"?

Once upon a time I told myself no Les Paul again ever. Welp.....that didn't work but I rationalized due to the P90s. Then it became but no humbuckers! That went away too since I just ordered another one.

The weirdest thing for me is that when my ears have become accustomed to everything else but soap bar P90s at first they sound strange. That natural grit that isn't there anywhere else actually changes the way I play. No other pickup does it quite that way.

It's always nice to have variety. I love how when you plug into a P90s guitar thinking "oh it's just a single coil" and it ends up being higher output than a lot of humbuckers

Sunday has come and gone here, not that it matters as every day seems the same to me.

I had a feeling Sis (Roz) was going to arrive unannounced as she occasionally does and sure enough she turned up early, even caught me in my PJ’s. Not that that matters as she lived with us for quite some time. We had a lovely morning and early afternoon with her here and we sent her off with tomatoes she reckons are so sweet they are like lollies and some home grown garlic. Those 2 sisters are just so good together!
