Hey all,I just got a gold es-335(Pix will follow soon). And the jack plug out on the front of the guitar with a very small washer under it.I want to put a poker chip kinda washer under it.But it hardly has any threads showing on the front.I made something with the plug and a wire attached to it.So I can plug it in and take off the nut and washer. And then reinstall them. But I need to take a spacer off the threads on the inside of the guitar.Any ideas?

I think this is a tough one. Given that the wires are connected to the other components, the range of motion for the Jack will be limited. But you could try to see if you can pull the Jack up through the F hole. Just tie a string or some dental floss around it so you can pull it back.

How bad is the problem? Does it affect your playing or is it a cosmetic issue?
