Recently, I came across completely unknown to me MAGMA strings. Specifically, it is the Magma GE140N. All I know is that they are made in Argentina. My first impression is very positive. They play "lively", very clearly and expressively. Can anyone tell me more about this product? BTW. I put them on the EPI DC PRO.

I like that these folks offer a “flat wound” string set equivalent to D’Addario Half Rounds. Both in acoustic and electric. They seem to be currently out of most sizes of those but still…. I’ll have to try a couple sets of these. I like to support the small independent companies when I can. I’m dieing to try a set of Gabriel Tenorio long twist silk wrapped strings on one of my offsets.
I like the look of some of the Magma straps too.
