The Rebel is an interesting concept as well but how did you find the difference between the EL84 side and the 6v6 side? To me there just wasn't that much difference and frankly I suspected as much.

Oh yes, big difference. The attenuators don't do much power wise, but do fatten the sound a bit when cranked.

Yep, I wanted one (as a backup for gigging my Mesa) for some time,
if you can find them, they're asking ~€250 and that's not what I wanted to spend

luckily I found one for € 150 in nearly new condition

I had that same Valve Jr, same mods. Version 2? I did remove the mods though, but added the input resistor permanently.

Those Micro Dark heads are seriously underrated. I just played a buddy’s a couple days ago through a matching 2x12 cab.

yup, it sounds nice through a 4x12 as well, but it does rock out 9f a 2x12!

seriously, the Line 6 isn't as bad as people make it to be... and yes, I did have the B-52 shipped halfway across the globe when I moved .
