I searched up the contemporary series on the Fender site and was impressed!!! The HH FR strat in that same metallic green finish looks sweet - it's even got a roasted maple neck to make it in style.
The Squier Contemporary series has a few nice axes.

They're certainly fun mod platforms. 😁
Helloooooo Nurse!.jpg

I bought mine specifically because of the roasted maple neck and the fact that they (seemingly for once) finally matched the radius of the fingerboard to the bridge.

How does PTB sound on single coils ? I've used it on Humbuckers , but never tried it on singles .

i love the way it can pull me out of the overly bassy tone while using the neck pickup. it helps tame overdrives as well. i didnt even realize i bought the wiring harness this way. i just wanted the gilmour mod lol. my luthier told me what it was for. i thought he crossed the tone wires being that both knobs would change the tone in every position smh

Very tasty Jacksons!! Interesting stringing method too! I string with the ball end at the tuner too, but never saw it done the way you do it.
Notice, how I put a ton of string wrap around the tuning post ?
I break a string, I just unlock the nut and at the saddle ..... I get more string use .... I'm such a low baller / cheap skate ⛸️ 🤣
