So I think my next guitar will be an Epiphone ES-175. The only problem is Epiphone doesn't make them anymore.

I don't want to buy used. I want to put in the dings & scratches myself.

I COULD get a Joe Pass Emperor, but it looks like Epi isn't currently making that one, either.

I don't want a regular Emperor because it comes with a Bigsby and I don't want a Bigsby.

So it seems like my options are to wait for Epiphone to start making the ES-175 again (or the Joe Pass again), or buy a Gretsch or an Ibanez.

Do I have any reasonable expectation that Epiphone will start making the ES-175 or the Joe Pass again any time soon?

I love my Eastman acoustic. One of the reasons I wanted an Epiphone was because they are affordable. Most of Eastman hollow bodies I’ve looked at have not been affordable.
