My Sheraton from Japan came with some mystery pu maybe Maxon brand; brass cover and plate with and Alnico magnet. Sounded like all the terms we call bad pickups. Muddy, compressed, shrill highs, etc.
the bridge read 14.8k and the Neck was 7.26. I change the magnets to ceramic and for some reason they both now read 7.8? I lost track of which was which when putting on the cover.
now they’re back in and sound clear as a bell!
now what to do with the Gibson 57’s i don’t need anymore...

I touched my g400 very inappropriately.. Went in there, fiddled around with my finger a bit and now it's all happy again
(one of the prongs on the selector switch was bent ever so slightly so it lost contact when flipping it to the rhythm position)

Put the Gibson 61 pickups that were in my Gibson 60’s standard into my Epiphone Silverburst. I have a new favourite guitar!edit- I didn’t put them in, I paid to have them put in. I’m not a good at soldering… and have zero clue on how to wire them.

I'm planning on swapping the generic roller bridge on my G400 for a Tone Pros roller over my holiday vacation to have the proper string radius. Does that count?

Hopefully things quiet down a bit for the holiday season and can get back to modding guitars/ making videos. Was just able to play a bit in the office during breaks in between. This one's got a pair of guitarfetish pickups from back in the day when I still lived in the states.

Terada Japan in the late 80’s right before the Sheraton II became a thing. For what i can tell it’s also not a veneer

i had a stare down contest with my epiphone Lazarus, i won, Lazarus got upset when i mentioned my 2011 bonamassa goldtop with grover tuners . My lazarus felt some kinda way...........
