Good solid looking shoots there mate!
We have had 2 BBQ’s here for years and as you get older you tend not to have bigger gatherings and the WeberQ does all that we need now. I have one at Mallacoota too and they are so economical on gas that one bottle lasts ages. The main reason BBQs are fewer is this colder weather plus losing our protection from late afternoon SE breezes which often make it uncomfortable early evening. All the trees and bushes protecting us went in the fires. We should be getting a few 40C plus temps this month as it’s usually Feb. that is our hottest and certainly many days in the 30’s, but now we are getting mostly low and mid 20’s.
Feels more like "Global Cooling" to me!
Hopefully this treatment will be forgotten long after it does the trick and returns you to good health Ian.
You can tell from the pic that only half of the shoots have broken surface, I pushed the big pot under the window box last Autumn to protect it from the rains & only half of it was in daylight.
I've pulled it out now to let the daylight on the other half.
Cheers Mate it's a bit miserable at present with not being able to go.
