I headed in to see the lovely Wendy for a haircut this morning...she was in good form and we had lots of laughs.

The to Bunnings where I filled the back of the Ute with soil and chook manure. Once home I filled to tyre stacks with said medium and cut up some spuds that have gone to seed and planted them. Lifted and carried too many heavy bags and was too sore to do anything after that.

I launched into pruning the handful of fruit trees I have that survived the fires 5 or so years ago. I used the 16” Makita battery chainsaw and was being pretty ruthless when the centre of one I’d cut fell on me. My leather hat saved my head but my right hearing aid must have copped an impact through the hat as it beeped a few times and turned off.

I came in to cover up 3 bad gouges on my arms that were pissing blood and couldn’t get the hearing aid started again. I got cleaned up and headed into town to see my hearing aid mob. On of the lovely ladies there sorted it out and I was going again. Love those ladies!

Now I have to clean up all the mess I’ve left around the fruit trees.

Nothing more than putting in an online shopping list today, the sciatica has eased somewhat & I've got more movement in my left leg.
The trailer for the new TSW6 game looks good with better graphics :yesway: they're releasing the core game for free on the 26th August.

It's been toasty in the greenhouses lately, with temps hitting 40C :wow: The Malaga melons like it & the grapes are now ready for picking.

I grew a tiny tomato variety called sweet pea, this is as big as they grow against a 50p piece.

Carted firewood yesterday is about all I did so the wood heated me twice!

Fortunately I have a good book I’m reading on Kindle and a talking book on Spotify. I get into trouble if I listen to the talking book inside though....Grin~
